LUK INC. of Wooster Sponsored two houses one in 2003 and one in 2005. Many of their employees took part in building as well. We're grateful for making the dreams of homeownership for two families (including 6 children) come true!
National City Bank sponsored our Pittsburg Ave. House. We enjoyed partnering with several of their employees as we built this house together.
First Energy is gracious to Habitats all across the country. We were privileged to be a part of their generosity in 2005 when they funded the building of the Hailey family's home.

Our own Habitat ReStore has funded two and half houses since its opening in November or 2004! This year the ReStore presented Habitat with a $30,000.00 check to fund one half of of our Womens build house. The other $30,000.00 was presented on the same day by Zion Lutheran Church a long time friend and faithful supporter of Habitat.  A celebration and check presentation took place on July 31, 2006 at the Zion Lutheran Church Sunday morning service. We're grateful to God for these two donors who've combined to help us build the Day family a home.

Local entrepeneur, Jerry Baker graciously built and funded the Manacapilli home in 2004. We thank him for not only funding the house but taking it upon himself to oversee and put into place the workers and workmanship. Thank you Jerry for making a family's dream come true.

Through Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity, 313 families realized the dream of homeownership last year.
Habitat For Humanity In Wayne County have graciously been awarded a grant through Thrivent Builds Homes in 2007!
Our Habitat affiliate will be volunteering with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Wayne-Holmes County Chapter of Thrivent Financial, Lutheran congregations and other Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the United States to help build 355 homes with families in need of simple, decent, affordable housing through this program launched in 2006. Together, we will build about one home every 26 hours through Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity, giving families a great start toward economic independence.
You can help us make a difference  in 2007 by helping to build 355 homes through Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity – including one in our community. To get involved, call Beth Weaver at 330 263-1713 or visit www.thriventbuilds.com.
All Thrivent Builds homes are in addition to the more than 5,000 homes Habitat affiliates currently build each year in the United States and Canada with families in need of simple, decent, affordable housing.
From the first nail to the last, building a home through Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity is a profound experience. It’s not just concrete and wood, it’s tears and smiles, born of hard work and faith. And it’s the knowledge that you’ve helped change lives.
You can help end poverty housing through Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity, a $105 million financial, volunteer and advocacy alliance between Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and Habitat for Humanity International®.
